I really have to thank Daboo for first pointing me to the radiolab podcast; because, if it hadn't been for her, I'd never have heard the amazingly sad and beautiful Story of Ella Chase. It begins at 18:17 and ends at about 39:34. Find the time to listen to it.

Well, this is weird. Today, June 8th 2013, RadioLab aired the story of Ella Chase. I had no idea that this is a repeat from 2007!

What a great story. It inspired me to search on-line and there isn't much about the Ella Chase referenced in the story, except for links back to RadioLab.
