The Mad Giggler on :
Let's add music to the list of movies and tv shows
Friday, February 27. 2009And Get the Heck Off My Lawn, Ya Durn Kids!
I don't like most of the music I hear other people listening to. Most of what's out there sounds like crap. However, after following a trail of "Recommendations" by Last.fm, Rhapsody and Pandora, I thought I'd mention some artists that I've recently (in some cases, 're-')discovered that have a sound which appeals to me, along with some tracks that are from artists I don't normally listen to which I enjoyed.
Colbie Caillat - especially her rendition of one of my all-time favorite songs, "Kiss the Girl" from Disney's "The Little Mermaid"! Lenka Lilly Allen Erin McCarley Ingrid Michaelson JayMay Yael Naim Uh Huh Her - this is a band, not the PJ Harvey album The Postal Service Madeleine Peyroux - it's absolutely CREEPY how much this woman sounds like Lady Day Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Zero Natasha Bedingfield - These Words (I Love You, I Love You) Katie Melua - Just Like Heaven (an awesome acoustic cover of the smash hit from The Cure) Trackbacks

Ancient of Days on :
LOL
I assume by this you mean "the list of things AoD and MG cannot talk about"? The Mad Giggler on :
That's correct. Although, I once thought our shared admiration for U2 meant our tastes in music would align, after you and Radar started talking music, it was all over.
Ancient of Days on :
Neither Radar nor I remember talking about music?
The Mad Giggler on :
I'm going to let Sideshow remind you.
Radar on :
What are you talking about? I love U2. Their songs "Viva La Vida" and "Clocks" are awesome.
Swatson on :
Please tell me you're joking about U2 songs (which ones you think are awesome.) I like Viva La Vida...but not the U2 version...Don't think there is a U2 version...I like the Joshua Tree album a lot and "It's a Beautiful Day."
Radar on :
Are you sure? I thought those were done by REM or Enrique Iglesias.
Swatson on :
Enrique Iglesias is my bestest singer ever. May he live forever.
Ancient of Days on :
Enrique's greatest single moment was the song "Por Amarte", used as the song for the opening title on the novella "Marisol".
